Our Asbestos Awareness Course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely with or around asbestos, reducing the risk of exposure and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

This course is ideal for workers in construction, demolition, or general building maintenance, as well as anyone involved in refurbishment or renovation projects.
What the Course Covers
Learners will gain essential knowledge in the following areas:

Identifying Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACMs): Learn how to identify where asbestos may be present and understand the types of materials that may contain asbestos.

Health Risks of Asbestos Exposure: Understand the long-term health risks of asbestos exposure, including lung cancer and mesothelioma.

Legal and Safety Requirements: Familiarize yourself with regulations regarding asbestos handling and the legal responsibilities for employers and workers.

Safe Handling Procedures: Learn the correct procedures for managing asbestos in the workplace, including safe removal and disposal.
